Welcome to Issue #43 of Sonic Postcards!

This week’s issue leads off with “Getting It Right” from Nashville-based singer Caitlin Rose. She croons and aches with the best of them on this track. I haven’t listened to her latest full length, CAZIMI, but suspect it’s worth a listen in its entirety based on the few tracks I’ve heard off it.

Another standout from this week’s issue is BROODS remix of Lila Drew’s, “Bad Juice.” I will forever have a soft spot for BROODS after their lol-worthy decision to include a custom BROODS air freshener with every purchase of their 2014 album Evergreen. With a mix of shame and pride, I’m happy to report that that thing is still hanging proudly, sans scent, around the rear view in our Subaru.
