Welcome to Issue #29 of Sonic Postcards!
This week’s playlist is filled with some bangers from some tried and true heavy hitters. The standout track for me is “Problem With It” from Plains, a new collaborative project from Jess Williamson and Waxahatchee’s Katie Crutchfield. Crutchfield’s continued to slide into Americana is a welcomed trend and has me really excited for Plains’ first full length release. The track also features backing from Phil Cook (see Issue #20) and Spencer Tweedy.
The cherry on top of this week’s playlist is Lucy Dacus’s cover of Cher’s, “Believe.”
